A christmas treat – Ris à la Malta

En enkel och ljuvlig efterrätt med smak av apelsin.

  • 500 g risgrynsgröt
  • 2 msk florsocker
  • 2 tsk vaniljsocker
  • 3 dl grädde
  • 2 apelsiner och/eller mandariner
  • saft från en apelsin
  • eventuellt: toppa med biskvier och choklad.

Vispa grädde och socker i en skål. Blanda grädden med risgrynsgröt. Skala apelsiner och skär dem i små bitar. Rör ner apelsinbitarna i grötblandningen. Pressa över apelsinsaft. Klart!

Recipe in english:

  • 500 g rice pudding
  • 2 tbsp icing sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract 
  • 300 g whipping cream/heavy cream
  • 2 oranges and/or mandarins
  • juice from one orange
  • optional: top with biscuits and chocolate chips.

Whip the cream and sugars in a bowl. Carefully mix the cream with the rice pudding. Peel oranges and cut them into small pieces. Add the pieces to the pudding mixture. Squeeze over some orange juice. Done!
